June 5, 2019 – June 5, 2019
ATTENTION Due to AB2103, California State law has changed CCW training to meet these minimum requirements:
CCW Renewal: 4 Hour minimum and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on a permit.
Initial CCW Training: 8-hour minimum and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on a permit.
Based on these changes, NFI will begin teaching the Initial CCW Course at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Chico, CA over one night of four hours. Currently, this class will meet the training requirement for the following counties: Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Colusa, Tehama, Trinity, Siskiyou, Placer, Yuba, Solano, and Sutter.
Students who attend this 4 hour class will also be qualified to apply for the 32 State Non-resident CCW. This is actually two classes in one!
This class will take place over one night: Wednesday from 5-9 PM. On the evening of your course, we will travel to Down Range Chico, from 8-9 PM to shoot each firearm listed on a permit for qualification. All range fees are included in your CCW Training fees. Meeting location will be: Sportsman’s Warehouse, 765 East Ave, Chico, Ca. Students will need each firearm listed on their permit and 50 cartridges per firearm on the night of your CCW Renewal Class.
Please select the following links to (1) complete your release of liability waiver at Downrange Chico, and (2) complete your Butte County CCW Qualification form. Glenn County also uses this form. Please select/print the links below and complete them.
