Description:

This NRA CCW Instructor course is the most comprehensive personal protection instructor course the NRA Offers. This course is an evening and weekend college-style course for those who want to further their career as an NRA Instructor or begin one! This registration page is for the entire week of training at a 20% discount for a total 9 day training and credentialing program for $948.80.

This registration includes all courses for a discounted rate. The Event culminates in professional credentialing as an NRA CCW Instructor

Prerequisites apply to attend this course. Each of the prerequisites will be taught in the days prior to this course beginning on 6/12/20.Prerequisites are:

  1. NRA Basic Instructor Training 6/12/20-$150 (Included at no charge if you are a registered student for another instructor level course)
  2. NRA Basic Pistol Course, 6/13/20 $169
  3. NRA Pistol Instructor Course, 6/14/20 $299
  4. NRA CCW Course 6/15-16/20 $169
  5. NRA CCW Instructor Course 6/17-20/20 $399
  6. Total of all classes $1186.00. Register for the entire week and receive a 20% discount: $948.80.

THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS FOR THE NRA CCW Instructor Course and is part of the NRA Pro-Series week long NRA Instructor event. This course is priced for the NRA Instructor Candidate. If the candidate is planning on attending all courses for 6/12 to 6/20, register on this site for the entire week of courses and save 20%.  This course is  designed for Instructor Candidates who have complete NRA Basic Instructor Training (offered at no charge on 6/12/20 for registered instructor candidates) Student prerequisites apply and a skills test will be given during the course including marksmanship.   Class is designed to have students bring their pistols and ammunition to the course and learn to use them! NRA Course will include professional books and training materials.

NOTE: All NRA CCW  Instructor Candidates must complete NRA prerequisite courses before they can attend the NRA CCW Instructor Course. Subject taught during this professionally credentialed course include:

Teaching pistol action types and operation

Teaching ammunition fundamentals

Teaching pistol storage

Teaching pistol maintenance

Teaching Psychological and physiological reactions to a shooting

Teaching California CCW laws including use of force concepts

Teaching pistol range training including marksmanship, loading, unloading, and range safety procedures

Teaching continued opportunities for skill development

Pistol 38-45 Caliber (.22 caliber pistol can be used for NRA Basic Pistol and Pistol Instructor Training)

250 Cartridges (CCW Instructor)

Appropriate Gun Belt, CCW Holster, (OWB or IWB only) Double Magazine Carrier, Three Magazines, CCW Cover Garment

Provided completed documentation (Training Counselor will provide before course)

Donwload  attached  documentation provided by your Training Counselor (see below) prior to taking the course. Some of this will be printed and completed before class. Electronic versions of these documents for reference can be used. Please download and fill out all obvious pre-course documentation and get it ready for class. Powerpoint Presentations can be stored electroically for use in class but all other documents should be printed and reviewed or printed and completed before class. Being an instructor is a complicated and detailed matter so text or call Ted Lidie if you have any questions.

You will need 10 of each color of target in your Basics Of Pistol Shooting Lesson plan (red, white, and blue)

Laptop computer , pad or phone for reference and saving documents (optional)

Appropriate instructor range and classroom clothing, including baseball cap and no sandals,  V-neck tops, tank-tops, or other open chested tops.
