ATTENTION Due to AB2103, California State law has changed CCW training to meet these minimum requirements:
CCW Renewal: 4 Hour minimum and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on a permit.
Initial CCW Training: 8-hour minimum and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on a permit.
Based on these changes, NFI will begin teaching the Initial CCW Course at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Chico, CA over two nights, and eight hours. Each night’s class will be 4 hours long to meet the new State requirement. Currently, this class will meet the training requirement for the following counties: Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Colusa, Tehama, Trinity, Siskiyou, Placer, Yuba, Solano, and Sutter.
Class Schedule: 6/4/19, 5-9 PM, no firearm needed.
6/5/19, 5-9 PM, qualification will take place with each firearm listed on CCW permit. Please bring firearm and 50 cartridges per to class.
Range qualification will always take place on the Wednesday evening of the two day course, from 8-9 PM. We always plan to teach either the first or second night of the class on a Wednesday. Please bring your firearm and 50 cartridges per firearm to the class, along with your ear and eye protection on Wednesday evening. There is no need to bring anything other than these items to this class.
Students who attend this 8 hour class will also be qualified to apply for the 32 State Non-resident CCW. This is actually two classes in one!
This class will take place over two nights: Tuesday and Wednesday from, 5-9 PM. On the Wednesday evening of your course we will travel to Down Range Chico,to shoot each firearm listed on a permit for qualification. All range fees are included in your CCW Training fees. Meeting location for both nights will be: Sportsman’s Warehouse, 765 East Ave, Chico, Ca. Students will need each firearm listed on their permit and 50 cartridges per firearm on the Wednesday portion of your class.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations prior to 14 days from the date of the class will be given a full refund. Within 14 days, the students will be given a 50% refund of training fees or a credit for a class to be used within one year. Students who fail to attend any portion of a class without notice will forfeit all training fees.
